Wallace Library is in a central location on the RIT campus. It is an important building for both students

and faculty.

 

Creating a high-class environmental design for Wallace Library is very important.
I was inspired by how elegant and modern Apple’s new system ios7 is because of the very thin type. So I want to create a wayfinding system with very thin type, and I unify the type and the icons in the same thin line style. I think the color system should be more energetic.

 

My goal is to help people easily remember where they parked their cars or bicycles, help people find restrooms and elevators. Also, make the Wallace Library wayfinding system more modern and elegant.

 

I used Neutraface 2 Text Light for the letters，and used Helvetica Neue UltraLight for the numbers.
